ADULT EDUCATION

High School Completion, GED, Spanish GED, & Adult Basic Education

All Adult Education classes are open entry and open exit. There is a one-time fee of $50.  These classes are open to those whose high school class has graduated and who have not finished the requirements for graduation, or to those who will not meet graduation requirements by the end of their senior year.  High school credit is available in all classes and counts towards an Adult High School Diploma. Reasonable accommodations are provided to registrants with disabilities.

English as a Second Language classes will be held at the English Language Center in Logan. Call 435-750-6534 for specific ESL course information, starting dates and times.

Program Information

Cost

$50 per school year, paid by cash, check or credit/debit cards.

Enrollment

Students will be considered enrolled once the following requirements have been met:

  1. Registration forms filled out and signed
  2. Proof of residency provided
  3. Registration fee paid
  4. Intake testing completed

Appropriate "Proof of Residency" Documents

*Date furnished on document must be within the last 12 months.

*Address on document must be the address the student currently resides at and match the address provided on the registration form. No PO Boxes.

*If providing a form of Utah ID, it must be current and not expired.

Examples:

  • Utah driver’s license
  • Utah State ID
  • Utah driver’s privilege card
  • Employer’s pay stub
  • Rent or mortgage payment statement
  • Phone bill
  • Utility bill or utility work order
  • Utah library card
  • Utah resident fishing or hunting license
  • Utah high school/college transcript or report card
  • Written statement on employer’s letterhead defining a job commitment with prospective student
  • Approved or denied free and reduced lunch application from prospective student’s children’s school
  • Tribal correspondence
  • Daycare or nursery school records of the prospective student’s children
  • K-12 registration demographic card of children enrolled in a Utah school
  • Mail from an in-state or out-of-state business addressed directly to the student
  • Current year automobile registration
  • Consular ID card issued by SLC Mexican Consulate
