Action Steps
Paraprofessional hired to work individually with students to improve math understanding and performance. Students will be identified based on Star 360 test results. Follow-up Star 360 testing throughout the school year will indicate student progress. An additional staff member helps with a variety of tasks including contacting guardians throughout the day when students are absent and running reports detailing missing assignments for each student. If students are at school and doing their work, they will be more successful in school and improve their academic abilities. Student attendance is vital to ensuring accurate and useful academic data.

Action Steps
Purchase school-wide reading books. A certified teacher develops curriculum for each book to help students improve skills in reading comprehension and vocabulary. Students take the initial Star 360 test in September. School personnel review test results with each individual student before the January and April tests are administered. All results are analyzed after the second and third administrations to determine individual growth, as well as the overall average growth of the student body. A staff member helps with a variety of tasks including contacting guardians throughout the day when students are absent and running reports detailing missing assignments for each student. If students are at school doing their work they will be more successful in school and improve their academic abilities. Student attendance is vital to ensuring accurate and useful academic data.

Cache High will increase the number of parents involved in Parent Advisory by 5% throughout the school year. Goal #3 will be reached by May 2027.

Teachers will note the number of parents met with each evening and compare with previous meetings.
Action Steps
Cache High will contact parents via Messenger reminding them of Parent Advisory dates and times. All parents that attend Parent Advisory are entered into a drawing for a chance to win a gift card. Funds are used to pay teachers for three of the six Parent Advisory evenings.
